Jelena Čorba

Jelena Čorba, M.A. in Social Work

She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, Department of Social Work, and for approximately ten years, she worked at the Centre for Social Welfare (Valpovo, Beli Manastir, and Osijek).
Her primary focus was working with parents and children within the marriage and family department. For the past two years, she has been employed at the Klasje Osijek Centre for Community Services, where she directly assists families in need with risk prevention.
Through an international volunteer organization, she spent three months volunteering in Nepal, working in an orphanage. This experience was pivotal in her decision to pursue more direct and personal work with beneficiaries.
For the past several years, she has been actively involved in the volunteer work of the humanitarian non-profit association Mirotvorci, and serves as the association’s secretary.
