Continuing the work of the humanitarian non-profit association Mirotvorci, which aims to develop a culture of peace, the association will on September 21, 2026, commemorate International Peace Day by presenting an award consisting of the PEACEMAKERS 2026 sculpture and a charter of the same name.
In 2026, the international public recognition for peace “PEACEMAKER” will be awarded to prominent peacebuilding associations from 10 different countries, as well as to ten distinguished peacemakers from the Republic of Croatia.
The official award ceremony will take place on September 21, 2026, starting at 5 PM in the Gastro Globus Zagreb hall.
